I got this idea for a pin when I was having a particularly fumbling day and kept dropping the fork I was eating with onto the floor. I distinctly felt like I was being sarcastically mugged at after so many iterations of bending down to pick it up (for an immediate washing).

When the image popped into my head I just thought it would make a hilarious pin. A lot of people ask me about the meaning behind my pins, and a surprising number of times the story is as simple as that: the idea popped into my head and tickled my fancy. Sometimes I think about it for a while and it slowly develops into a more complex and meaningful metaphor. Get Forked was not that kind of situation.

I argued with myself over "Fork You", "Fork Yourself", but ultimately went with "Get Forked" because I like how it rolls off the tongue. However, there is no wrong way to name this forking pin, in my book. It begs for people to come up with their own forked up reaction. So have a forkfest time with it.
