These enamel magnets were originally made as pins. I wasn't happy with the way several of the pins turned out and there were problems with back stamp information after remakes. There were also numbering errors. Some of the work is very good, and I was offered a partial refund. I accepted and converted as many pins as I could into refrigerator magnets. I intend to raise funds to manufacture these into pins (with maybe no green ano) with a factory I have worked with before.
These iron enamel filled fridge magnets are all epoxied and feature some sort of glow-in-the-dark. Some of the glow is very good. Some is rather shabby with all the glitter packed in. Blue Moon Unit, Urban Operations, and Careless Caper are actually pretty good. I removed the posts on the back using pliers as low to the pins surface as possible. I used Gorilla brand hot glue to attach high quality ceramic magnets onto the back. I used enough glue to also cover the leftover nubs for the glue-on back posts. Gorilla hot melt glue is some of the craziest strong and hard hot glue I've ever seen, btw. Not your typical fare.
This is a magnet, and is not a toy. This is not intended for children too young to be entrusted with a pin. Handle with respect and care and it will last a very long time. If magnet gets wet simply dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners on magnet. Treat like an enamel pin, more or less. Enjoy!
