Staring Stanley is a real squirrel that lives on my property in Illinois. Stanley went through a phase where he was purposefully ingesting the mildly psychoactive Panaeolus Cintulus mushrooms that grow in my barked garden beds and staring at me through the windows for hours a day. I caught onto the staring before I discovered what he was up to in my garden beds. All the strange behaviors clicked together. Upon starting Machine Cloud I knew that one day I would turn Stan into a pin. I was thrilled when Jason Durbin of DopeOwl agreed to the commission, as I believe his art depicted my squirrel buddy perfectly. Find out more about Jason's art here:
